باید توجه داشت که بدون شناخت انسان، سخن گفتن از حقوق بشر شدنی نیست. بدون معرفت نسبت به انسان نمی توان به او فرمان داد که به احکامی تن دهد و نیز نمی توان برای وی حقوقی ترسیم کرد. بنابراین انسان در بستر اختلافات و کثرت های مادی توانایی شناخت و تنظیم حقوق واحد و مشترک را ندارد. یکی از حقوقی که قرآن کریم مطرح می سازد حق حیات است. حیات خود دو گونه است: مادی و معنوی. هیچ کس مجاز نیست حق حیات مادی با معنوی دیگران را سلب کند. سلب حق حیات مادی با قتل تحقق می یابد. سلب حق حیات معنوی به وسیله گمراه سازی صورت می پذیرد. کسی که دیگران را به هر طریق گمراه می کند، حیات معنوی شان را از میان می برد. آزادی :همه انبیاء پیامدار آزادی بشر بودند. حضرت موسی(ع) در آغاز قیام خویش، پس از فراخواندن مردم به توحید پیام آزادی سر داد و هدف از آن رهایی مردم مصر از اسارت طاغوت بود. پیام آزادی خواهانه حضرت موسی(ع) چنین بود: ای طاغوتیان! بندگان خدا را به من بسپارید. حضرت موسی(ع) اطاعت از هر موجودی جز خدا را ناشایست می داند و از انسان ها می خواهد که پیرو قوانین خود ساخته بشر نباشند.
تفاوت در نگرش به حقوق بشر: اگر در غرب توجه به حقوق انسان ها با دوری جستن از اندیشه دینی و تنها با تکیه بر تجارب تاریخی و افتضائات فلسفی و اجتماعی صورت می گیرد، و اسلام گرایان دین را عامل نزدیکی به حقوق و دستیابی به آزادی خود می دانند. تفاوت اصلی این دو نگرش در آن است که اسلام، انسان را بنده خدا می داند این «لزوم تسلیم شدن در برابر اوامر او» و داشتن مسئولیت در برابر او را به همراه دارد. این مسئولیت نه صرفا مسئولیتی اجتماعی، بلکه مسئولیتی اصیل در مقابل خداست. هرکس به بندگان او ستم روا دارد، خدا در کنار بندگانش خصم او خواهد بود و تا از ستم نایستد یا توبه نکند در حال جنگ با خداست.حقیقتی تلخ:حقیقت این است که سازمان ملل و اعلامیه حقوق بشر حتی در یک مورد نشان نداد که از حقوق بشر دفاع می کند؛ چرا که غربی ها، که طلایه دار این سازمان اند، نه بشر می شناسند و نه حقوق بشر برایشان مفهومی دارد. مردمان جهان فهمیده اند که این سازمان و اعلامیه ای که متولیان آن قدرت های سلطه گر استعماری اند جز فریبی برای ملت ها و وسیله ای برای مشروعیت دادن به تجاوزها به دخالت های آشکار و پنهان شان نیست.
